Book launch at Selly Oak Centre for Mission Studies
The Queen’s Foundation in Birmingham hosted a book launch for The Revd John Joshva Raja’s latest publication: Introduction to Communication and Media Studies. Joshva, a tutor at the Selly Oak Centre for Mission Studies co-edited the book in Bangalore with colleague Samson Prabhakar. It addresses many key issues in mission studies and communications and includes chapters on Alternative media and mission and Internet, mission and ecumenism. Director of SOCMS, Rev Val Ogden said, ‘Mission and communication studies are inextricably linked. Joshva’s work will be a tremendous resource for teaching and for helping us to think clearly about mission, modern technology and global networking.’
