Birmingham and Wolverhampton&Shrewsbury Districts
Invites YOU to join in a day of
“Building Vision”
on Saturday 15th May 2010,
at King Edward VI School, Handsworth, Birmingham
Do you know what the vision of the Methodist Church is? How can we work more effectively in the community? How can we inspire people?
This “Building Vision” event brings together Church and community organisations to present alternative ways of worship and thought, and make valuable resources more widely available. We aim to build a vision of how we work together to inspire and benefit the communities in which we live and work.
There’s still time for you to make an active contribution, as well as attend.
There will be keynote speakers, workshops/seminars, and a “marketplace” of exhibits and resources. Church and non-Church members, members of community organisations – all are welcome, including children! You can attend, volunteer to run a workshop, set up a “market stall” where you can give away or sell resource materials, or show projects that you’ve done or are doing. Everyone is welcome, for all or part of the day.
The day is free of charge, and promises to be entertaining as well as informative.
A provisional programme is attached.
