Michele Simms

Michele is from Great Barr, Birmingham and has been a member of independent and Anglican churches. She has a diploma in Biblical and Cross-Cultural Studies from All Nations Christian College, Herts and has lived and worked in New Zealand, Hong Kong, China and India where she was involved in local evangelism and support of the church. She has also worked with Birmingham City Mission and with Romany Christians assisting them in their discipleship.

Before coming to this appointment Michele was employed in the Mission Department of the Anglican Diocese of Birmingham. She is a member of B1 Church and is on the Management Team for 'Breathe', a facility providing reflective space for people working and living in Birmingham city centre. Her hobbies include travel, walking, wildlife, drama and dance. She is the youngest of 5 children and is half German, thanks to a wartime romance!
