Change to the statutory minimum paid holidays
Prior to 1st October 2007 - 4 weeks at the normal hours worked each week.
On/from 1st October 2007 - 4.8 weeks at the normal hours worked each week.
On/from 1st APRIL 2009 - 5.6 weeks at the normal hours worked each week.*
* including bank holiday entitlement.
Full time employees [40 hours] already receive 4 weeks and 8 bank holidays, which equals 5.6 weeks.

to check your employee entitlement for each holiday year during the transition period.
Changes to Lay Workers and Employees
Revised Standing Orders are being prepared for issue at this coming Conference. New rules for pre-appointment will also be published and a new minimum pay level set, which is no longer linked to the stipend.
