Faith and Work Group

The faith and work group continues to offer services based on Faith and Work themes, in addition to a debate or similar event focusing on one aspect of the economy. 

The latest event focused on Human Trafficking.  In conjunction with the City Centre Churches together in Birmingham and with Network’s support, Tricia and Christien came from Odanadi UK and the University of Western England, to talk with a gathered congregation at St Martins in the Bull Ring. They spoke about the facts and some practical responses to trafficking.  The evening was preceded by a session in the afternoon at the Queens Foundation which involved a dramatic engagement with the subject.
            
Our next event will probably be in the autumn and will focus on issues around housing.

The Faith and Work Group meets on a quarterly basis, and would welcome new members or invitations to lead worship!.
